The Sprite Universal Hand-Held Shower Filter has certified performance in a stylish, high-strength plastic housing. Installed in the housing is a replaceable 3-month filter cartridge (model HHC) engineered for ease of replacement. This system’s housing separates horizontally, allowing the user to replace its cartridge with a few simple twists. Universal Hand-Held series units extend below the bracket approximately 8.5 inches, making them ideal for achieving the most filtration with minimum intrusion.

Sprite’s “Universal” filters are named for their universal fit and appeal! This unit can be placed between a shower hose and any standard 1/2-inch NPT shower arm bracket with no extra equipment, offering complete customization of the showering experience. This product is made with ABS food grade plastic and is available in high quality triple-plated finishes with a nickel undercoating.

This listing is for the filter (containing one replaceable filter cartridge) only – shower handle sold separately. Sprite’s plastic units have a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty with proof of purchase. Please refer to the manufacturer’s website for complete warranty information and registration.

LIMITED U.S. WARRANTY. Sprite Industries warrants the shower filter housing only (not the cartridge) to be free of defects for a period, depending upon the type of unit, when used under normal operating conditions. Filter housings made of plastic are warrantied for a period of one (1) year. Disposable plastic units are warrantied for a period of six (6) months. Filter housing made of brass is warrantied for a period of five (5) years. At the time of purchase, it is the owner’s responsibility to complete the product warranty information and submit to Sprite Industries within 15 days of purchase, to keep proof of purchase of the unit and all replacement cartridge(s), and to demonstrate that proper cartridge replacement and filter maintenance was performed as specified in the owner’s instructions. The provisions of this warranty shall not apply to any product that has been submitted to: Abuse, neglect, over-tightening, lack of or improper periodic filter replacement, repaired or altered by anyone other than an authorized Sprite Industries service representative, and will VOID the warranty in its entirety. This is exclusive remedy and liability for consequential damages. There are no other warranties, expressed or implied, limited to the extent permitted by law. Consumers may return merchandise to Sprite Industries Inc. for repair or replacement only. Prior authorization is required to initiate the warranty process. To obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA #), please call 800-327-9137 for fastest service or contact us via e-mail. Please include your return authorization number on or inside the box. Valid proof of purchase must be provided to receive service under warranty. Accepted documents include: Copy of Sales Receipt/Invoice from original place of purchase Sprite’s record of Warranty Registration Sprite will provide a pre-paid UPS return label when returning an item under warranty. If the filter housing undergoes laboratory testing a report will accompany the item outlining the methodology and results. Sprite Industries will notify the consumer in writing should the customer’s return for repair or replacement not be covered under the expressed warranty period. A detailed explanation will state the company’s position in denying warranty repair or replacement. Reasons for denial include: Customer Abuse (use of shut off valve between universal housing and head, over-tightening, failure to change cartridge, etc.) Missing Parts Damaged in Transit Customer will be notified with an estimate to repair units not covered under warranty.
